We’re proud to announce that, after graduating from Northeastern Unversity with a degree in Computer Science, P/R CPT (Ret.) Seth Bakes commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army on Thursday May 3, 2018 to become our first A-12 alumnus since the company reactivation in 2017.
2LT Bakes completed his candidacy as part of the 123rd Candidate Class, and throughout his time as a member served as the Supply & Logistics Officer, Intelligence & Recruiting Officer, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, First Sergeant, Chief of Staff, and Commanding Officer. 2LT Bakes served as the OIC for countless operations and participated in the training of three candidate classes.
During his time as an ROTC cadet, 2LT Bakes participated in the Army's Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT), competed on the Liberty Battlion Ranger Challenge Team, and held positions as the S-6, BN XO, and ACO 1SG.
Within weeks of commissioning, 2LT Bakes will report to Fort Benning, GA for the Army Ranger Training Assessment Course (RTAC) to prepare for Ranger School in late August. After earning his tab, 2LT Bakes will attend IBOLC, from which he will be assigned his permanent duty station.
2LT Bakes has seen to securing a strong future for the company and has contributed to the development and preservation of its history of excellence. We wish him well in his career and look forward to hearing of his experiences and undoubtedly ambitious aspirations for the future.
